ISO CERTIFICATE - what is that?
ISO Certificate is awarded by authorised certifying
companies. This document confirms that a quality control system
for manufactured products or rendered
services is applied in a company and that the system is consistent
with appropriate for a company profile standard. In our case it
means a certificate related
to designing in transportation engineering and performing the
function of Project Engineer according to PN-EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
How did we receive the ISO 9001 certificate?
Actions aiming at applying the Quality Assurance System were
undertaken by the management of the Office in 1999. During three
years of preparations we created the Quality Book, established
procedures and trained the staff.
Due to peculiar character of our company we needed
much time
to develop appropriate procedures according to ISO 9001. Finally our efforts were awarded and in December 1999, as the first designing company in the railway
sector, we received ISO 9001 Certificate from TÜV Management.
Since then we have continually improved the
System.
Once a year the auditors from TÜV Polska check if the System works
properly.
In 2002 the company management started to adjust our Ouality
Assurance System to the new version of PN-EN ISO 9001:2000 standard. In March
2003 TÜV Polska executed the renewing - certifying audit that
confirmed the correctness of the modified System called in
accordance with the new standard the Quality
Management System. After successive certifying and renewing audit in January 2006, the company have obtained the prolongation of the Certificate until February 2009.
